AVID

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college preparatory program for under-represented students which operates as a daily class elective taught by trained faculty and college student tutors. The AVID program involves students in a diverse curriculum including integrating study skills, time management, and writing across-the- curriculum. Students attend field trips to colleges and universities to supplement their experience.
