READ a book this week.  REMEMBER to do your homework! It's not too late to join the REPTILE EDUCATION CLUB - see Ms. Peterson if you are interested.  Don’t forget to look around campus and make a list of any items you find that begin with R.  Turn in your list to room 503 before the end of the day tomorrow.  Appropriate R items only!  Prizes and SpiritQuest points awarded!

Softball players:  Practice will be at Perkins as scheduled (weather permitting).  JV players be prepared for possible infield practice during your lunch break.  Mr. Costin may not be in today.  However, the parent meeting is still on for today at 5:15PM.  If this changes there will be a follow-up announcement later today or you will be notified at practice.  You will be permitted to phone parents from practice if the parent meeting is postponed.  The bus should pick us up at about 4:50 pm as usual.  If you and/or your parents cannot attend the meeting tonight please write Mr. Costin a note.  Have a good practice today; March 16th is coming up quickly!

Attention 8th grade students – Graduation Packets are on sale now at the student store.  If you did not get a flyer with all the information, you can pick up a copy in the front office. 

Students who still owe money for their 6th Grade Camp fundraiser need to turn in that money by tomorrow to avoid going on the UNSAT list.  Turn your money in to the student store. 

Youth Act meets today after school in room 301.  Remember to wear your purple shirt and bring some spare change.

Today and tomorrow is SMS’s third annual RELAY FOR LIFE event!  Bring some money tomorrow and Friday to join the fight against cancer!  All monies collected during the day will go directly to the Modesto Relay for Life.  We've got a variety of things going on so see the Relay for Life flier for more information!

Science Olympiad Team….there will be an end of the season pizza party after school on tomorrow in room 403.    Wear you team t-shirts!

The Reptile Education Club will meet today after school in room 503 from 3:05-4:00 pm for a general meeting.  No preferred meeting this week due to other after school activities going on.

The Wildcat wrestling team will be at home afterschool today.  Come out and support your favorite wrestler.  Admission is $1.00.

National return your overdue library book week has been extended through tomorrow.  Don’t miss out on a chance to win gift certificates to the upcoming bookfair or a possible Coldstone Creamery certificate. Overdue books receive one ticket and books returned on time receive two tickets for the raffle.

Any student who would like to try out for the Gregori High School Cheerleading Squad, please pick up your packet in the front office.  There is a portion in the packet for your teacher to fill out.  Please read the packet carefully as there is a deadline of March 18h at 3:00 pm.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Students - don’t forget to vote for that staff member who has helped you out in some way.  Vote for them on your Go for the Gold ballots and submit them to the office!
